Combining theatre practice, collective making, and ecological construction, the project created a space for storytelling, expression, and social connection at Unbroken. Veterans undergoing rehabilitation, together with other participants and members of the project team, were involved throughout the process, from co-designing and building the structure to activating the space through collective performances and cultural activities.

Grounded in the personal stories and experiences of veterans, the theatre became a shared space where individual narratives could be expressed, transformed, and connected to those of others. The process of making and performing together fostered participation, agency, and a sense of belonging, while creating opportunities for encounters beyond the clinical setting.
